Yellow Pages

Yellow Pages: Listings of Objects, Language, and Miscellaneous Goods is an MFA thesis publication that reimagines the phone book/yellow pages as a browsable archive of Thai everyday life and cultural identity. Memories, objects, and design experiments take the form of directory listings, pairing Chum Mart’s world of products and commerce with the personal histories behind it. Through yellow and white pages and a bilingual English–Thai layout, the book explores how culture takes shape through memory, translation, and encounter.
